Ridgewood Neighborhood Park in Rancho Peñasquitos finally has new playground equipment. As Just Fix It wrote in June 2007, the city of San Diego had removed aging equipment in fall 2006 but did not replace it.

The playground at North School Park is unavailable until the end of September. The Arlington Heights Park District has removed the old playground equipment in the park at Arlington Heights Road and Eastman Street and is clearing the area. The new playground will include two toddler swings, a tunnel and multiple slides. An umbrella will shade a portion of the playground.
